Vahland Tennis Academy UTR Winter Series #1

Vahland Tennis Academy are proud to announce their upcoming UTR Winter Series!

Each Winter Series Event consists of 3 matchplay formats

• Under 10s Orange Ball - Consits of 3 matches up to 6 games (sudden death deuce & no tie-break at 5 all)
• Under 12s Green Ball - Consists of 3 matches up to 6 games (tie-break at 5 all)
• UTR Open Event - Consists of 3 matches up to 8 games (super tie-break at 7 all)

UTR is a rating between 1 - 16.5 that reflects an individuals level of play. 

3 factors determine and individuals Universal Tennis Rating: Your competition (strength of opponent), the score (% of games won) and recent results (last 30 matches within 12 month period).

Entry to the UTR open event is open to all, with players to be grouped according soley on their playing abillity. Neither age or gender will be factored into these groups. The intention is that all players compete with others of a similar playing standard.
